Seminyak Beach

Project Name: The Legian Bali
Project Type: Seminyak Beach, Bali, Indonesia
Design Objectives: Prioritize physical comfort and safety through whole-house intelligent humidity control systems that eliminate tropical climate discomfort. Design Philosophy
Cultural Synthesis: Our design team contemporizes traditional Balinese motifs through minimalist modern interpretations. Guests experience authentic island culture through thoughtfully integrated heritage elements while enjoying state-of-the-art amenities. This seamless fusion allows cultural immersion through daily interactions with design details, achieving "living within heritage while thriving in modernity".
Visual Narrative: A sand-white and teakwood color palette establishes meditative serenity, evoking connections to nature, tradition, and craftsmanship to enhance emotional resonance throughout the guest journey.
Materiality & Craftsmanship
Outdoor furnishings employ rattan weaving and teakwood to orchestrate tactile dialogues between organic textures and contemporary silhouettes. Teak lounge chairs feature streamlined curves with modular mortise-and-tenon joints at armrests and backrests, showcasing wood's inherent structural beauty. Complementary side tables employ geometric teak panels with tonal variations to accentuate natural woodgrain.
Indoor tables pair matte-finished teak bases with cool gray stone slabs, contrasting weathered resilience against organic warmth. Rattan-woven seat surfaces soften rigid teak frameworks through breathable textures. All teakwood maintains matte, unfinished treatments where woodgrain patterns interlace with rattan rhythms, distilling jungle aesthetics into minimalist sophistication.
